On the human side it has been a hugely transient one for so many different reasons. Emotionally challenging personally and in the wider world also.
In the Natural world there is always a continuing struggle for survival. Weather patterns changing because of climate change, due in no small part to human kinds' unstinting attempts at 'progress'
There is so much bad news around regarding the planet, so I like to concentrate on the good and rejoice in the splendor that surrounds us.
I have been posting my blog here for only 6 months and before that, the same on Facebook. I have thoroughly enjoyed my walks this year and sharing them with whoever has had the kindness to stop, read and view my photos. So my thanks to you all.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very healthy and Happy New Year in 2017 and I'll leave you with a look back on the amazing moments (in no particular order) I have witnessed in 2016. One Love, Smudger xx
